ABOUT
DR. ANDREA PETERSEN
Dr. Petersen began seeing a chiropractor at the age of 15 when she was a member of the Canadian Junior National Luge Team. She found relief from her injuries as well as improvement in her posture and sport performance following chiropractic treatment. This was her inspiration for pursuing a career in chiropractic. She went on to study biological science at the University of Calgary, followed by the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has a keen interest in athletics, geriatric and family wellness-based care, and specializes in manual adjusting, soft tissue techniques, Shockwave therapy, and Activator Method technique (a gentle non-force technique to improve joint function and decrease pain). Her mission is to help improve people's health and wellness through evidence-based chiropractic care and advice.

Dr. Petersen recently moved back to Calgary after working in Prince George and offering mobile care in remote communities in Northern BC. While in BC she served as Director of Northern Health region on the BC Chiropractic Association Board of Directors.
